Grid Layout Process Video

For this layout, I chose the vellum and grid patterned papers.
And I rearranged small pieces from them on the white cardstock to modify the original grid patterns.
If you want to see more details of whole layout and the process, check out my video!

Mixed Alpha Title

I created this layout using various shapes and letter and word stickers.
There are so many alpha stickers, phrase stickers, Thickers and chipboard alphas in GB July kits.
When I found the beautiful alphabets from the kits, I absolutely knew they would be the unique title for my layout.

First I chose the picture of my Blythe doll , Ilda and a beautiful Life Pages card filled with colorful typography.
and I arranged them on the white cardstock with a bright patterned paper.
At this very moment, be careful not to fill most of the page with the patterned paper, photo and embellishments.
I tried to keep a large part of white space on this page for my colorful title.

Then I made a title on the white space mixing Crate Paper’s thickers, Heidi Swapp’s phrase sticker and Pink Paislee’s chipboard alphabets.
Finally I added some stickers and embellishments and put the stitches using sewing machine here and there.

I really love the unique title in an assortment of shapes, sizes and colors on this page.
Mixing various alphas is absolutely fun, no doubt!

Sweet Girl

This layout was inspired by Stephanie Bryan's "Moments" layout
in the January 2014 gallery of Write. Click. Scrapbook.

I tried to make pastel ruffles using tissue paper and watercolors for this layout.

Gossamer Blue May Sketch Challenge

I made this layout for Gossamer Blue May Sketch Challenge.

I mainly used the black & white journal cards from May kits.
After arranging these cards on the gray patterned paper, I added itty bitty pieces such as puffy sticker, sequins, labels and flair button here and there.

And to finish this layout I added a little touches
using floral transparencies and title sticker in red and yellow combo.
Although there are many sections in the sketch
I believe the muted background using B&W can flatter my small three photos and tiny embellishments.

Moments

I used Citrus Twist's December main kit for this layout.
December Kit was full of cozy seasonal mood.
And among them I especially enjoyed to play around with wood chips, Heidi Swapp's silver stickers
and Studio Calico's vellum star stickers.
These were so useful here and there on my page. :)

2013 Layout : Bell

Bell is my friend, Ahn's daughter and 9 years old.
I made this layout using Dear Lizzy polka dots collection
and Heidi Swapp's transparency diecuts  for the sassy girl.
And I left a blank card to Ahn for her own journaling.
